The CHAN Eagles were yesterday held  2-2  by Zanzibar in a pulsating match ahead of  their next week’s opening match at the 2024 Africa Nations Championship to be jointly held by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

Yesterday’s encounter means the CHAN Eagles  go into the 2024 CHAN undefeated in  all their preparatory matches. NPFL top scorer of last season Anas Yusuf and Olamilekan Adebayo gave the home-based Eagles a 2-0 lead before the home team fought back to draw 2-2.
