Nigeria’s representatives, Bayelsa Queens, are gearing up for a competitive campaign at the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B Qualifiers, following the official release of the fixture schedule by the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B.
The Prosperity Girls have been drawn in Group B, where they will face stiff competition from Ghana’s Police Ladies, AS Garde of Niger, and Sam Nelly FC of Benin.
Bayelsa Queens will kick off their journey on Friday, August 23, against Police Ladies of Ghana, immediately following the tournament’s opening match.

The team will then face AS Garde of Niger on Monday, August 26, before wrapping up the group stage with a clash against Sam Nelly FC on Friday, August 30.
All group matches are scheduled to take place at the Stade Robert Champroux in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
Should the Prosperity Girls progress from the group, the semifinals will be played on September 2, with the third-place match and final scheduled for September 5.
Bayelsa Queens will be looking to build on their strong domestic form and secure a ticket to the main CAF Women’s Champions League tournament later this year.

August 26 – Bayelsa Queens vs. AS Garde (Niger)
August 30 – Bayelsa Queens vs. Sam Nelly FC (Benin)
