28-Year-Old Drug Abuser Electrocuted To Death In Ondo

A drug abuser has met a tragic end, after being electrocuted to death in Ondo state.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the yet-to-be-identified young man, reportedly consumed some hard substances, which made him lose his mind and touch a lige wire.

Confirming the incident while advising the youths, the Ondo state Police spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami said the man took the hard drugs, climbed a fence, touched a live wire and was electrocuted.

She wrote;

Esther Igbekeles Song ‘Se Normal’ is the best advice for those involved in Drug Abuse/ Substance use. Ondo State live wires and future (Youths). You have a long way to go, don’t allow Drugs take you away, a lot of people are looking up to you. A WORD is enough for the Wise,” 

“It’s saddening that some of our youth have refused to ‘ Se Normal’ despite the warnings. A young man of 28 years old suspected to have taken hard drugs, climbed a fence and touched a live wire , unfortunately he was electrocuted. RIP to the dead. DON’T BE A VICTIM, SE NORMAL.”
