Abuja National Mosque Gets 5 New Imams [FULL LIST]

Five new Imams have been unveiled for the National Mosque in Abuja.

The Imams were unveiled on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, by the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).

Their unveiling was come officially following consideration by the General Purpose Committee.

The process was finally endorsed by the National Fatwa Committee.

The five new Imams are

1. Professor Ilyasu Usman (Enugu State)

2. Professor Luqman Zakariyah (Osun State)

3.  Professor Khalid Aliyu Abubakar (Plateau State)

4. Barrister Haroun Muhammad Eze (Enugu State)

5. Dr. Sheikh Abdulkadir Salman (Kwara State)
