Ali Chiroma Is Dead! President Tinubu Mourns The Passing Of Former Labour Leader

The death of former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Ali Chiroma, has left President Bola Tinubu in deep sorrow.

In a message delivered by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, on Wednesday, Tinubu extended his condolences to the bereaved family, the organized labour community, and all those affected by this loss.

Described by the Presidency as a former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) who held various positions within the trade union hierarchy, Chiroma’s contributions were remembered by Tinubu.

Reflecting on Chiroma’s efforts during a challenging period in the nation’s history, Tinubu acknowledged the late leader’s unwavering commitment to the NLC’s autonomy and his staunch defense of the marginalized when it was most crucial.

He offered prayers for the peaceful repose of Chiroma’s soul and assured the statesman’s family of his support and prayers during this period of mourning.
