Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Saturday stormed Bichi Local Government Area of Kano State.

Ganduje’s visit came as a gesture of sympathy for the families and victims of the tragic accident involving police officers who had attended the Edo governorship election last week.

POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that the election was won by APC’s Monday Okpebholo.

The officers, who were returning to Kano State, met their untimely demise in a road traffic crash along the Zaria-Kano road at Karfi Village by the Trailer Park.

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kano State Command, five police officers lost their lives in the incident.

Ganduje, a former Governor of the state, emerged as the APC’s national chairman in August 2023. He was thronged by hundreds of residents on his recent visit to Kano.
