Army Captures Wanted Boko Haram Logistics Supplier in Borno

Troops from the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) have captured a logistics courier of the terrorist group Boko Haram.

Garba Buda was apprehended in Guzamala, Borno State. The 30-year-old suspect had been on the MNJTF’s wanted list for his crucial role in supplying logistics to the terrorist group.

Buda’s arrest followed intense surveillance and human intelligence efforts. He was caught while transiting through Monguno town.

A statement by the Chief Military Information Officer, HQ MNJTF N’djamena, Chad, Lieutenant Colonel Olaniyi Osoba on Friday, said a lighter, pocket mirror, comb, cap, and wristwatch were recovered from him.

Buda is currently in custody, undergoing thorough profiling and investigation.

In a separate operation, MNJTF troops raided a Boko Haram/ISWAP enclave in Kukawa Local Government Area, disrupting terrorist activities.

The terrorists fled leaving behind logistics which were destroyed.
