Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners Chapel, celebrated his 70th birthday on September 27, 2024, surrounded by dignitaries, prominent clerics, family, and friends.

The event took place at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State, with a massive turnout of guests.

In the spirit of the celebration, Oyedepo had earlier requested that his followers win souls for the kingdom as a birthday gift to him.

Despite his request, he received lavish gifts, including a Rolls Royce Cullinan and a generous donation of N1 billion towards feeding 50,000 people at Canaanland, the church’s sprawling campus.

Several high-profile guests, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo and governors of Lagos, Ogun, and Delta states—Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dapo Abiodun, and Sheriff Oborevwori—were present.

Also attending were top clerics like Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Bishop Matthew Ashimolowo of KICC, Poju Oyemade, and Jerry Eze.

Bishop Oyedepo expressed his gratitude to God for His grace, crediting his accomplishments to divine favour.

On her part, his wife, Faith Oyedepo, shared her pride and deep love for her husband, wishing for a mansion beside his in heaven.

The event was marked by joyful celebrations, including performances by gospel artists Adeyinka Alaseyori and Nathaniel Bassey.
