Bishops David Abioye, Thomas Aremu Set To Retire From Winners Chapel | Daily Report Nigeria

  • Two Bishops of the living Faith Church, Bishops David Olatunji Abioye and Thomas Aremu are about to be retired from service.

  • This retirement is set to hold after the duo completed a four and three decades of dedicated service, respectively.

Two Bishops are in the process of being retired after their dedicated service in the Living Faith Church Worldwide, Winners Chapel

This retirement is said to align with the Church’s constitutional framework, which states that only the Founder of the Church is granted the privilege of a lifetime of service, while future leaders will serve a maximum of two terms of seven years each, subject to Board of Trustees approval.

Bishop Aremu, who is currently 67, and had served moved into full time ministry following the end of his career as an accountant.

He is said to be the last of the seven Bishops consecrated in November 1999 at the Garden of Faith in Kaduna..

His valedictory service is set to take place on October 15, 2024, at LFC Basorun in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Bishop Abioye on the other hand is said to have been a close associate with the general Overseer of the church, Bishop Oyedepo since their first meeting in 1979, which led to a new breakthrough in the Church’s establishment.

He is also said to have been sent to pastor one of the five too branches of the church in 1987.

Bishop David Abioye’s farewell ceremony will occur on October 18, 2024, in Lokogoma, Abuja.

This retirement marks a new era for the church, as it will be the first time that retiring pastors who have served with distinction will be publicly honored.
