The mass defection is particularly notable in Southern Kaduna, where APC’s popularity has surged.

Speaking during the flag-off of the APC campaign rally in Kaduna on Monday, Governor Sani attributed the defections to his administration’s focus on promoting justice, equality, and transparency.

He expressed confidence in the APC candidates, vowing to support them fully as they aim to secure victory in the October polls.

“Our administration has made significant strides in promoting justice and fairness, which has won the confidence of many,” Sani stated.

He also praised the APC candidates for their dedication and the overwhelming support they’ve garnered across the state, describing their efforts as “unprecedented.”

Governor Sani further highlighted key achievements under his leadership, particularly in rural revitalisation and infrastructure development.

“Since assuming office, we’ve prioritised rural development, constructing 62 roads across 23 local government areas and building 60 secondary schools,” he noted.

In addition, the state government has equipped over 200 Local Education Authority (LEA) primary and secondary schools within the 255 wards of Kaduna.

With these achievements, the governor expressed optimism that the APC would continue to lead the state towards economic stability and rural revitalisation, positioning the party for success in the forthcoming elections.
