Twenty-six-year old man Bala Aliyu has been arrested for defiling a 10-year old girl in the El-Waziri area in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State.

According to the police, Bala Aliyu, on Christmas eve 2024, dragged his victim into his room where he had forceful sexual intercourse with her.

The little girl, according to the police, had been sent by her mother to deliver a message to a friend in the same compound where Aliyu resided.

On arriving at the compound, the girl was reported not to have met the person the message was meant for and decided to hand it to Aliyu.

As she departed according to the police report Aliyu called her back, dragged the little girl into his room and forcefully had sex with her.
