BREAKING: Bandits abduct Ex-NYSC DG, Brigadier Gen Maharazu Tsiga in Katsina

Bandits have kidnapped the former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (retd.), in Tsiga village, Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.

According to eyewitness reports, the attack happened at about 12:30 am on Thursday, when heavily armed assailants invaded the community, firing sporadically to create panic among residents.

Tsiga was abducted alongside several other villagers, and their whereabouts remain unknown.

As of the time of this report, authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident. The attack adds to the growing security concerns in Katsina State, which has witnessed an increase in banditry and kidnappings in recent months.
