BREAKING: Cross River Commissioner Ewa is Dead

The commissioner of tourism, arts and culture for Cross River State, Robert Ewa is dead.

Ewa died at the Arubah Specialist Hospital, Calabar in the evening of Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

It was gathered that the late commissioner was present at the state’s executive council meeting with Governor Bassey Otu and other cabinet members before his passing on Wednesday.

The late commissioner had served as a secretary at the Boki Local Government Council and later as a chairman.

He was also a special adviser on Community Relations and Secretary of the Anti-Deforestation Task Force.

The governor of the state and his cabinet members are said to have gathered to mourn the late commissioner.
