BREAKING: Kano State House of Assembly approves appointment of 7 new commissioners

The Kano State House of Assembly has approved the seven persons nominated by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for vetting and appointed them as commissioners and members of the state executive council.

The Majority Leader of the House, Lawan Hussaini Dala, disclosed this shortly after the screening of the seven persons.

According to Dala, all those nominated by the governor to the house are good people who are passionate about the development of Kano.

Dala added that their vetting focused on the areas in which each of them has expertise.

The house said it would today submit its report to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to enable him to swear them in and assign them to their respective ministries.
