Meanwhile, Vitor Pereira has been appointed as the new manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers, with a contract that extends until June 2026.

The announcement was made by well-known football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via a post on his X page on Thursday morning. Pereira’s appointment comes after Wolves recently parted ways with their previous manager, Gary O’Neil, along with his coaching staff, following a disappointing 2-1 defeat against Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

Pereira’s move to Wolves includes an exit clause payment of approximately £1 million to his former club, Al Shabab. This arrangement reflects Wolves’ commitment to securing the experienced coach, as they look to turn their fortunes around.

Romano confirmed the agreement via his X post, stating, “Vitor Pereira has signed in as new Wolves manager until June 2026; agreement sealed.”

He also noted that an official statement from Wolves regarding the appointment would be issued soon, signaling the club’s readiness to embark on a new journey under Pereira’s guidance.
