BREAKING: Peter Obi Visits Family of Obidient Member Involved in Domestic Gas Explosion [Photos]

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi on Thursday, December 19, visited family members of an Obidient who were involved in a domestic gas explosion in their home.

In a post made on X, Obi said he was at the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Enugu to visit family members of the Obidient member popularly known as Up Town of Lagos on X.

Up Town of Lagos had in a post on December 16, said his family was involved in a ghastly gas explosion at his house the previous day.

According to him, three of his brothers are in a critical situation in the Intensive Care Unit and have subsequently been moved to FTH Acute Burn Department.

In his post, Obi said he was at the hospital to offer his support and prayers for the victims of the explosion and the entire family.

He said, “Today, I visited the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Enugu following the heartbreaking news of a ghastly gas explosion that occurred a few days ago at the home of one of our Obidient family members, Up Town of Lagos.”

“The tragic incident left three of his brothers with severe third-degree burns. I was there to offer my support and prayers during this challenging time.

“Such an unfortunate event weighs heavily on us all. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their loved ones, and everyone facing similar challenges across the country.

“I continue to pray for their complete recovery and that God Almighty grants them healing, strength, and comfort. As we work toward building a nation where safety, healthcare, and basic amenities are prioritized, let us remain united and supportive of one another,” Obi added.
