Nigerian influencer Reno Omokri has called out Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi for his silence regarding the murder of Aminu Sahabi Salisu, an EFCC agent, in Anambra State.
Salisu was allegedly killed by Joshua Chukwubueze Ikechukwu, a suspected fraudster, in Awka.
Omokri contrasted Obi’s silence on this incident with his swift condemnation of the killing of Deborah Samuel in Sokoto last year.
He accused Obi of selective outrage, questioning his priorities and consistency.
“When will Peter Obi condemn the cold-blooded murder of Aminu Sahabi Salisu by Joshua Chukwubueze Ikechukwu? Is Peter Obi in support of Salisu’s murder? We remember how quickly he spoke out when Deborah Samuel was killed in Sokoto,” Omokri said.
He further criticised Obi’s perceived bias, adding, “When such incidents occur outside the Southeast, Obi makes public statements. But when it happens in Igboland, he remains silent.”
