BREAKING: Rivers Assembly screens, confirms 4 new commissioner nominees

Four new commissioner nominees have been screened and confirmed by the Rivers State House of Assembly on Monday, October 7.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The confirmed nominees including Israel Ngbuelu, Evans Bipi, Otamiri Ngubo and Benebo Anabraba were also presented by the Rivers State governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Reading a letter sent by the governor to the House, the Speaker, Victor Oko-Jumbo, listed the names of the nominees.

Also the leader of the House, Sokari Good-boy, noted that three of the nominees were former lawmakers of the state and therefore urged his colleagues to allow the nominees to take a bow before the plenary.

Furthermore, the House of Assembly screened the fourth nominee before announcing a confirmation of all them while they were urged to ensure they bring their wealth of experience into serving the people.
