BREAKING: There Is No Saint In Gallery Of US Presidents But Carter Was Comparatively Distinguished – Shehu Sani

The former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official X account on Monday to react to the death of former US President, Jimmy Carter.

According to VANGUARD, the former President of the United State of America died at the age of 100.

Reacting, Senator Shehu Sani said there is no saint in the gallery of US Presidents but Jimmy Carter was distinguished in honour. The former Kaduna lawmaker described Carter as someone who advocated for human rights even after leaving presidency.

Senator Shehu Sani sent his condolences to his family and prayed for his soul to rest in perfect peace.

According to Shehu Sani on his official X account;

“I remembered seeing him in Abuja Hilton in the beginning of Nigeria’s democratic journey.There is no saint in the gallery of US Presidents, but Carter was comparatively distinguished in honour. He was a champion of human rights and one who dedicated his post presidential life to service to humanity. Not everyone is lucky to live a hundred years. May his soul rest in peace”.
