BREAKING: Tinubu hails Wike again as FCT minister, sons visit president in Lagos

The minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, accompanied by his sons, Jordan and Joachin, paid a festive visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his residence on Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

According to a press statement by Mr Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media to the FCT Minister, the President warmly welcomed the minister and his children in the spirit of Yuletide while they had a brief discussion.

Olayinka stated that the president commended the minister for his exceptional contributions to transforming the nation’s capital.

According to him, Tinubu praised Wike’s bold initiatives in addressing critical issues, including land administration reforms and regulatory enforcement in Abuja.

During his recent media chat, President Tinubu described Wike as a “good man” and a “performing minister.”

James Ibori and Okezie Ikpeazu, former governors of Delta and Abia states, were also part of Wike’s delegation to the president’s home.
