BREAKING: Tinubu renames University of Abuja

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially approved the renaming of the University of Abuja to Yakubu Gowon University.

The announcement, made earlier today, during the Federal Executive Council meeting.

The decision is part of efforts to honour General Yakubu Gowon, Nigeria’s former Head of State, for his contributions to national unity and development.
