Manchester City were beaten 4-2 by Paris St-Germain after they squandered a two-goal lead at the French capital in a Champions League game on Wednesday night.

After a goalless first half, Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish scored within the first eight minutes of the second half, and the Premier League side appeared to be cruising.

But the hosts put up a fight soon after, with Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, João Neves, and Gonçalo Ramos all scoring before the final whistle.

The French champions move into the top 24 at the expense of City with the victory.

Pep Guardiola’s City will still go through with a win over Club Brugge next week but that’s no formality on their current form.

At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal thrashed Dinamo Zagreb 3-0, with Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard scoring for the Gunners.

Real Madrid also sealed a huge win, thrashing RB Salzburg 5-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Sporting’s hopes of reaching the Champions League knockout stage suffer a blow as they are beaten 2-1 by already-eliminated RB Leipzig in Germany.
