Former President Muhammadu Buhari has mobilized a ten-member delegation of his former cabinet to extend condolences to Mrs. Paulin Tallen, the former minister of women affairs, following the tragic death of her son, Richard Adamu Tallen.
The visit, led by ex-minister of information Lai Mohammed, highlighted the profound loss felt by the family and the broader community.
In a statement from his media aide, Garba Shehu, Buhari expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Richard, describing him as “a gem and a rising star.”
He urged Mrs. Tallen and her family to find solace in the widespread affection and respect for the late Richard.

The delegation included notable figures such as the former ministers of Power, Engineer Abubakar Aliyu, Environment, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi, and Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare, among others.
During the visit, prayers were offered for the repose of Richard’s soul, reinforcing the communal support for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
