American singer Chris Brown has expressed his deep appreciation for Nigerian artist Wizkid, saying he will never forget him for the rest of his life.

In a post shared by luthortv, Brown referred to Wizkid as his “brother for life” due to a significant gesture of kindness in the past.

Chris Brown revealed that despite performing across America throughout his career, he had not performed in the UK for over a decade. That changed when Wizkid invited him to join his 2021 concert at the O2 Arena in London.

Brown explained that Wizkid not only extended the invitation but also covered all the expenses, which left him deeply moved.

“Wizkid invited me to my biggest stage in the UK in 10 years. I had been performing all around America and hadn’t gone there for any show before. One day, Wiz called and told me he was getting everything set for me to come to his O2 Chris Brown concert. He paid for everything, and I was wowed. Wizkid is my brother for life,” Brown shared.

It’s worth noting that Brown had been banned from entering the UK in 2009 after pleading guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.

The ban, which was enforced in 2010 due to his conviction, had prevented him from performing in the country for a considerable time.
