Complaint Filed by Eze to Tinubu Regarding Wike’s Threats to Impeach Fubara

Recent impeachment threats against Governor Siminalayi Fubara, led by State Assembly members under Marthin Amaewhule, prompted Eze to urge Tinubu to intervene and rein in what he considers the minister’s loyalists.

It is imperative for Tinubu to instruct Wike to address the escalating situation involving the lawmakers, whom Eze believes are blindly following the minister’s directives, potentially undermining democratic principles.

Reports emerged this week that Governor Fubara faced challenges with certain Local Government chairmen in the state displaying disrespect towards him.

Tensions have risen between the governor and the Federal Capital Territory Minister, with Fubara warning that the chairmen are heading towards trouble.

During the opening of the Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Centre, Governor Fubara directly addressed Vincent Job, the Local Government Chairman of Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area in Rivers State.

Amidst a political conflict and power struggle involving the governor, his predecessor, and certain local government chairmen, as well as a majority of state assembly members aligning with the minister, Eze expressed disbelief over the impeachment threats directed at Fubara without any substantial evidence of wrongdoing.

Offering advice to Governor Fubara, the APC Chieftain urged him to maintain focus on delivering essential services to the people of Rivers State, disregarding distractions from critics seeking to obstruct governance efforts.
