Davido Hails Uncle Ademola Adeleke As Osun’s Best Governor

Nigerian music icon David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has praised his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, describing him as the best leader Osun State has ever had.

Speaking on the latest episode of Culture Knock Out (C.K.O) with hosts Chris and Baloo — a show uploaded on X on Tuesday — Davido shared insights into his uncle’s political journey and personality.

“My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor,” Davido said.

He noted that many initially dismissed Governor Adeleke due to his playful nature and love for dancing. However, the governor’s performance in office has silenced critics.

“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had,” the singer added.

Popular Nigerian blogger and former singer Tunde Ednut has announced that he is now officially an American citizen. He broke the news via Instagram, where he proudly shared a photo of his newly acquired U.S. passport.

Alongside the citizenship milestone, Tunde also revealed he had been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from former U.S. President Joe Biden.
