- Majority Leader empowers 250 constituents with N25m
- Lawmaker promises constituents good governance
Deputy Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda, has restated her commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots development.
Speaking at the 10th Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting at Rockview Hotel, GRA, Apapa, Lagos, with the theme: ‘Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda‘, she said the initiative reflected the present realities of governance at the national and state levels.
She noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu complemented by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES agenda, was already delivering tangible benefits across critical sectors, including employment, infrastructure, education, health and community development.
The Majority Leader of the House of Assembly, Mr Noheem Adams, has empowered 250 residents of the area with N100,000 each, totalling N25 million.

Adams, representing Eti Osa Constituency I, carried out the empowerment at the 10th Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting in Eti -Osa.
The meeting held simultaneously across all the 40 constituencies in the state.
Stakeholders in Epe Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State yesterday urged lawmakers to prioritise the welfare of their constituents and provide good governance.
The stakeholders spoke at the Lagos State House of Assembly’s 10th Constituency Stakeholders’ meeting held at Epe Local Government Constituency 1 Secretariat.
Addressing the stakeholders, Mr Biodun Tobun, member representing Epe Constituency 1, said this year’s theme was carefully chosen to highlight tangible benefits of governance.
He said it was also aligned with the Renewed Hope Initiative of President Tinubu’s administration.
