EFCC Nabs 31 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Port Harcourt

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Port Harcourt Zonal Command, have apprehended 31 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud.

The arrests were made on Wednesday at various locations across Port Harcourt, Rivers State, following credible intelligence linking the suspects to cybercrime-related activities.

According to the Commission, several items were recovered during the operation, including luxury vehicles, smartphones, smartwatches, and laptops.

The EFCC noted that the suspects will face prosecution once investigations are completed.

American rapper Chris Brown has been arrested in Manchester in connection with an alleged violent incident that took place at a London nightclub in 2023.

The 36-year-old was detained by officers from the Metropolitan Police at The Lowry Hotel shortly after 2 a.m. on Thursday.
