Father, 41, Arrested For Defiling 12-Years-Old Daughter For Two Years In Ogun

• A Man has been arrested for allegedly defiling his minor daughter in Ogun state.

• Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the man is accused of continuously molestation of his 12-years-old daughter for two years in the state.

Men of the Ogun state police command have arrested a father, identified as Aliyu Ibrahim, 12 for allegedly having carnal knowledge of his minor daughter.

Ibrahim, who was arrested by the police operatives on Thursday, October 10, was said to have been having carnal knowledge of his 12-years-old daughter, Rodiat Ibrahim for two years.

It was gathered that the suspect was arrested following a report by his estranged wife, Egbebi Temitope, who reported at the Oja-Odan Division of the Ogun State Police Command.

She alleged that Aliyu had defiled their daughter all the times she stayed with him during her holidays.

She said that she became aware of the ass@ult after she took Rodiat to the State Hospital in Ilaro over untreated v@ginal discharge that has been recurring in the child for an extended period.

Following this Report, the police swung into action, and the suspect was arrested at about 2:10pm on October 10, 2024.

Following the report, operatives of Oja-Odan Divisional Police Headquarters swung into action and arrested Ibrahim at about 2:10pm on October 10, 2024.

The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, who confirmed the arrest, said reliminary investigation is ongoing by the human rights section of Oja Odan division after which the suspect would be transferred to the State Criminal and Investigation Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
