Femi Adebayo’s Jagun Jagun Scores 7 Nominations at 2024 AMAA

Actor Femi Adebayo’s film Jagun Jagun has earned seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

The nominations were announced during an event held in Lagos on Wednesday, which was attended by members of the jury, AMAA screening college, and the board of the Africa Film Academy.

Jagun Jagun received nods in several prominent categories at the 20th edition of the prestigious awards.

These include Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Achievement in Production Design, Achievement in Costume Design, Achievement in Makeup, Achievement in Visual Effects, the Ousmane Sembene Award for Best Film in an African Language, and the NFVCB Award for Best Nigerian Film.

Femi Adebayo, excited by the recognition, shared the news with his fans and team on Instagram, posting on Thursday,

“Hey guys, we have done it again! Delighted to announce that Jagun Jagun clinched seven nominations at the 2024 AMAA AWARDS nominee announcement yesterday.”

The event saw notable industry figures in attendance, including the Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) Shaibu Husseini, George and Chinyere Anyiam-Osigwe, Kennedy Anyiam-Osigwe, Raymond Anyiam-Osigwe, Steve Ayorinde, Francis Onwochei, Sunny McDon, Nobert Young, Segun Arinze, Alex O, Cordelia Okpei, Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson, and Charles Novia.
