Idris Olorunnimbe is one personality who has mastered humility in public and private service over the last decade or more. The youthful head honcho of The Temple Company group and Ogidi Studios has been constantly evolving since the companies were berthed in 2016.

The young creative and one-time aide to former Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, is always making giant strides with every opportunity and constantly spotting opportunities that many don’t see. Hence, it’s not surprising that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has found him worthy of service to Nigeria again. Earlier in the year, Olorunnimbe was appointed the Board Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), but months after, he was recalled, after which the President tasked him with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

Upon his appointment, the NCC welcomed and congratulated Olorunnimbe on his appointment. Olorunnimbe was described by the commission as a highly esteemed individual of proven competence, with vast experience and an impressive track record. It is believed that Olorunnimbe, alongside other members of the board, will bring to bear their wealth of knowledge, strategic insight, and strong governance to enhance the regulatory work of the Commission.

Olorunnimbe, who is the Asoju Oba of Iru land, had previously served on the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) Board, where he chaired the Stakeholder and Governance Committee and drove impactful youth employment and entrepreneurship programmes.
