In a statement, COSEYL President General Goodluck Ibem frown at the recent orders despite calls for its cessation.
Recall that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Simon Ekpa-led Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, were initially associated with the sit-at-home orders. However, they have dissociated themselves from the latest directive.
“We appeal to President Bola Tinubu to consider the release of Nnamdi Kanu from DSS custody to put a stop to all forms of economic sabotage which are injurious to the growth and development of the nation”, the statement by Ibem partly reads.
