• Clark passed away on February 17, 2025, at 97.

  Burial activities will include a lecture, valedictory session, and tribute.

The family of Ijaw leader Edwin Clark has announced his burial date as May 13, 2025. Clark passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 97.

His eldest son, Mr. Penaowei Clark, made the announcement on behalf of the family.

The burial activities will commence on May 7, 2025, with a lecture at the NAF Conference Centre & Suite, Abuja.

A valedictory session will be held on May 8, 2025, at the Senate Chambers, followed by a day of tribute on May 9, 2025.

The family invites friends, family, and well-wishers to pay their last respects to the late Ijaw leader.
