Ebi Joshua Olowolayemo Esq – Secretary, IYC Western Zone and Comrade Tare Magbei – Information Officer, IYC Western Zone IYC, it expressed optimism that the Okpebholo-Idahosa administration would bring about transformational leadership that serves the interests of all citizens.

The group also urged the newly elected leaders to learn from the mistakes of their predecessor, Governor Godwin Obaseki, by prioritizing policies that promote inclusivity, progress, and fairness for every segment of the state’s population.

As a representative body for the Ijaw people in the Western Zone, which includes Delta, Edo, and Ondo States, the IYC took the opportunity to highlight the longstanding marginalization of Ijaw communities in Edo State.
