A recent fire outbreak in Rivers state has got many concerned, as it lasted for several days.
According to reports, the outbreak,which happened in OML15, at the Bukuma/Buguma flow station in Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Rivers State, lasted for four days.
While many groups criticized the efforts of the government and fire fighters in putting out the fire, the leader of the Kalabari Youths Federation, Livingstone Membere alleged the cause of fire was caused by the security operatives.

Also confirming the incident, the chairman of the Directorate of Human Resources Development, DHRD, Clifford Christopher enjoined the government intervene in the matter, or face protests and legal actions.
NNPCL Remits N10 Trillion To Federation Account In September 2024 – Kyari
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) remitted N10 trillion to the federation account as of September 2024.
NNPCL’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Malam Mele Kyari, stated that the company publishes 100% of its accounts yearly and is the highest taxpayer in Nigeria.
