The 2024 edition of Kokodiagbene Amasuo-Ugeh Festival has been scheduled to hold from December 20 – 22, 2024.
The three days annual carnival will have the 2024 ‘Tompolo Peace and Unity Cup’ competition as a curtain raiser on December 15.
According to the Planning Committee led by Chief (Engr) George Timiyan, the “annual festival aims at fostering peace and unity among citizens of Kokodiagbene”.
As announced by the Planning Committee in collaboration with the Kokodiagbene Community Executive Committee led by Amb. Pedro Bekenawei, activities for the 17th edition of the annual festival will be with a worship and prayer service on Friday, December 20, followed by entertainment.

Activities will resume on Saturday, December 21, with a Singles Connect by 11am, aimed towards promoting marriage among young people in Kokodiagbene community and Gbaramatu Kingdom.
Health and business lecture will hold between 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, raising awareness on healthy living and business education by experts.

Attendees will be taught how to successfully run a small and medium scale business, business name registration, and how to register with
multinational companies as a contractor. The day’s activities will end with praise, worship, prayer, word, and entertainment sessions between 5 pm and 10:30 pm.
The grand finale on Sunday, December 22, will begin with a thanksgiving service in the morning and end with an all-night live band entertainment by Jking Alfred Ezonebi and the Because of Love Crew.
A roll call of high-level dignitaries will be led by the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chief (Dr.) Dennis Otuaro as Chairman of the Day, while the Pere of Gbaramatu kingdom, Oboro Gbaraun II (Aketekpe, Agadagba), will serve as royal father of the day.
Other expected dignitaries include Chief (Engr) Kestin Pondi, MD Tantita; Sir Godfrey Tare Pondi, GM Operations Tantita; Engr. Matthew Tonlagha, among others.
