The Labour Party (LP) has suspended Senator Kevin Chukwu, who represents Enugu East Senatorial Zone, over alleged anti-party activities and insubordination.

The suspension was announced on Sunday by the Amuri Ward leadership of the party, citing his failure to comply with party directives and his involvement in actions deemed contrary to the party’s principles.

In an official letter addressed to the LP Chairman in Enugu State, the Amuri Ward leadership stated that Senator Chukwu had repeatedly ignored requests to explain his actions and had failed to demonstrate loyalty to the party’s ideals.
