The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a man at the Muritala Muhammad international airport for the crime of drug trafficking.
According to reports, the suspect, identified as Ihejirika Okechukwu Emmanuel was arrested on Tuesday October 15th.

The suspect, who claims to be a bussinesman and imports fish from Thailand was arrested while attempting to board an Ethiopian Airlines flight to Thailand via Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Further reports showed that when he was scanned, the result showed he had ingested substances suspected to be cocaine.
As a result of this, he was placed under excretion observation, which he excreted five wrap size of cocaine weighing 400grams.
Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the agency noted that the 51-year-old suspect had confessed to the crime, adding that he was to be paid the sum of N2.5 million, which he plans to use to boost his fish importation business.

In relating story, the NDLEA also arrested one Iwuagwu Ikedi, 26 for the importation of drugs into the country.
According to reports, the suspect was coming from Brazil through the Addis Ababa, and during inward clearing, his body scan revealed the ingestion of illicit drugs.
After observation, he excreted a pellet of cocaine weighing 22 grams.
