Nigerian duo joins Tunisian Ligue 2 side

Nigerian footballers Philip Adejoh Ojonugwa and Kalu Godwin have officially signed with Tunisian Ligue 2 club Avenir de La Marsa.

Godwin arrives from Israeli second-tier side Hapoel Raanana, while Ojonugwa makes the move after his stint in the Nigerian Premier Football League with Abia Warriors.

Both players had recently undergone trials with top-flight Tunisian club Étoile du Sahel but were unable to secure contracts. Avenir de La Marsa have since stepped in to complete deals for the duo as part of their ongoing squad rebuild.

The club also announced the signing of Ivorian midfielder Ricky Hans, with all three players expected to strengthen the team’s push in the upcoming season.
