Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has claimed that a mysterious admirer once offered her ₦1 million every week, asking her to step away from film sets.

Speaking during a recent appearance on Isbae U Barbie, the actress clarified a previous statement suggesting she was placed on a ₦1 million monthly salary. She explained it was actually a weekly allowance.

“Someone put me on ₦1 million — not monthly, weekly,” Nkechi said. “Anytime I mention I’m going on set and how much they plan to pay, he sends me even more than that and tells me to rest.”

When asked to reveal the identity of this benefactor, Nkechi flatly declined.

“It’s not your business,” she told the host.

The interview later turned confrontational after Isbae U made a remark about her outfit. Nkechi quickly fired back with a sharp retort.

“Because you’re wearing blue, you look like a prostitute,” she snapped. “I swear, you look weird.”

The exchange grew more tense when she pointed at Isbae U’s shoe and teased about a supposed connection with his father.

“That’s your daddy’s shoe, right? You know me and your daddy… never mind,” she said, stopping short of elaborating.

Despite the tension, Nkechi stood her ground throughout the conversation and remained tight-lipped about the identity of the man who, according to her, once financially supported her just to keep her away from movie roles.

Afrobeats sensation Davido has sparked mixed reactions online after confidently stating that he’s already financially secure — whether or not he continues working.

In a video posted on Instagram on Sunday, the music star declared that his wealth is already more than enough to sustain him.
