Police Arrest 43-year-old Man For R@ping 11-Year-Old Minor In Adamwa

• A man has been taken into custody, for rape in Adamwa state.

• The suspect was arrested for allegedly defiling an 11-year-old girl.

The police force in Adamwa state have arrested one Rabiu Usman, a 43-year-old man for raping an 11-year-old girl.

The incident reportedly happened in Timdore District, Ganye Local Government Area.

The arrest was carried out by the command following a complaint lodged by the mother of the victim, explaining that the victim had attended a wedding ceremony, when she was ambushed by the suspect and defiled.

Upon received of the report, the victim was taken to a medical facility in Ganye for medical examination and treatment.

Confirming the incident and arrest, the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris directed the Officer in Charge of the Family Support Unit of the Command to take over investigation and ensure a diligent prosecution of the suspect.
