• Pastor and elders of RCCG Lagos Province 64 at the dedication of a new auditorium
Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Lagos Province 64 at Magodo-Isheri in Lagos State, has dedicated its remodelled auditorium, a project church leaders said is a testament to faith, commitment, and community spirit.
Pastor, Bisi Akande, said the project, which began in 2024, was inspired by the need for more worship space while ensuring minimal environmental impact on the community.
“Today is a special day. We remodelled the church and created a new auditorium where we can worship in a better environment,” he said. “By the grace of God and the dedication of our people, in six months we were able to move into the auditorium. Today, we dedicate it to God as a place of prayer.”

He noted that the facility is already having a visible impact on members and the neighborhood.
“In the few months since we moved in, we saw people draw closer to God. Even the community acknowledges this was made possible by faith,” he said.
Assistant Pastor, Michael Folorunsho, chair of the building committee, recalled how a simple project soon became a major reconstruction effort.
“Our plan was to deroof, raise blocks, and install a roof,” he said. “But when we opened the roof, we discovered weak walls. We brought the first floor down and re-engineered the structure. What we thought would be three months took six.”
Olufemi Oguntade, treasurer and committee member, said the N368 million spent was funded through offerings, tithes, and contributions.
“There is the Nehemiah Group, key church members, who donate monthly between N50,000 and N250,000. In addition, we secured N150 million from Haggai Mortgage Bank. By God’s grace, we are not done yet, but we’ve come this far,” he said.
The dedication was attended by worshippers, church leaders, and guests, who see the event, as a symbol of God’s faithfulness and resilience of members.
