Rigas FS manager Viktors Morozs acknowledged that his team would have faced a tougher challenge if Victor Osimhen had been on the field during their UEFA Europa League match on Thursday night.
The Latvian side managed to come back from a 2-0 deficit to secure a 2-2 draw in the game.
Victor Osimhen, who missed the match due to a muscle injury, was notably absent, and Morozs suggested that his presence could have changed the outcome.

Reflecting on the match, Morozs stated, “It would have been a different game if Osimhen had played. He would have brought more strength to Galatasaray. Osimhen is not the same player as Icardi, and I believe he could have broken through our defense more easily.”
He went on to emphasize the difficulties of facing a forward like Osimhen, adding, “It would have been hard to play against such a strong and dangerous player. His absence was definitely a loss for Galatasaray, and we would have had a much tougher game if he had played.”
