'T-Pain means Temporary pain' - Doyin Okupe Says, Defends Tinubu | Daily Report Nigeria

  • The former presidential spokesperson, Doyin Okupe has come out to defend the Tinubu government.

Doyin Okupe, who was a former supporter of the former presidential candidate of the labour party, Peter Obi has come out to publicly defend Tinubu.

Speaking during an interview on Channels TV, on Monday evening, Okupe said the popular word, T-pain which Nigerians use to address the president actually means Temporary pain.

He also said that there is an unspoken agreement on rotational presidency between the southern and northern regions, adding that Nigerians will vote for President Bola Tinubu again in 2027, for him to complete the constitutionally allowed double terms of eight years.

He said;

Nigerians will decide so. I am sure. Nigerians are reasonable, sensible people, not demanding too much from their leaders. If Bola Tinubu gives us light in 2027, if Bola Tinubu resolves this fuel crisis and this food crisis between now and that time, you’ll see that people will go on the streets and say it’s Bola or nobody.”
