Tricyclist Arrested For Defiling 4 Male Minors In Adamawa

• The police force in Adamawa state have arrested a man for rape in the state.

• The man was said to have lured and defiled four male minors under the age of 10.

Men of the Adamawa state police command have arrested one Habubakar Umar for rape.

According to reports, the suspect, a tricyclist was said to have defiled four minors in the state.

The 22-year-old suspect was said to committed the crime in Rumde Baru, Yola North Local Government Area

The spokesperson of the state police command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who confirmed the incident said the suspect was arrested on 14th May, 2025.

The matter was brought into light after a parent of one of the victims lodged a complaint at a police station, stating that the suspect, who was hired to take the students to school took advantage of them.

He reportedly lured the kids, whose ages are between 8 and 9, and took advantage of them.

SP Nguroje added that the suspect confessed to the crime, and balmes the devil.

“The Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, has condemned the act and directed that the case be diligently investigated and charged to court without delay”, said SP Nguroje
