Men of the Nigerian troops have once again recorded a milestone as they apprehend a notorious bandit leader.

The suspect is said to be linked to numerous cases of banditry and kidnapping across the country.
Tye Nigerian troops have arrested one Bako Wurgi, a thorn in the flesh of Nigeria’s peace and stability.
The suspect, who is popularly known as Baka NaGarba was arrested following credible intelligence of him being in an hospital, after sustained multiple cuts and gunshot wounds following a clash with a rival group.

Baka NaGarba is also linked to the abduction of a monarch, the Emir of Gobir, Sokoto state, Alhaji Isa Mohammad Bawa, whom he killed after a failure in the meeting of his demands (money and motorcycles).
According to reports from Zagazola Makama, a security expert, the Troops received an intelligence around 10:00pm on December 14, of which they swung into action.

Upon arrival in the location, the source noted that two accomplices fled, while one who transported the criminal was arrested.
The arrest marks a new beginning for the people of Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara states, as they sing and dance in joy, following the arrest.
The suspect is currently being held in detention in an unknown location, while the troops continue a manhunt for his accomplices.
