The Army in a statement on Friday, September 27, 2024, said the suspects who are members of late notorious terrorist leader Kachalla Tukur Sharme’s gang, sustained gunshot wounds during an earlier clash with Nigerian troops.
In a steadfast effort to ensure national security, Nigerian Army troops have showcased their dedication to eliminating terrorist threats by arresting two terrorists receiving treatment at a private clinic in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The Army in a statement on Friday, September 27, 2024, said the suspects who are members of late notorious terrorist leader Kachalla Tukur Sharme’s gang, sustained gunshot wounds during an earlier clash with Nigerian troops.
“In Kaura Local Government of Kaduna State, troops, acting on intelligence, stormed a private clinic where wounded terrorists were receiving treatment.
“Two suspects, believed to be members of the late notorious terrorist leader Kachalla Tukur Sharme’s gang, were arrested. They confessed to sustaining gunshot wounds during an earlier clash with Nigerian troops,” the statement read.
The late Kachalla Tukur Sharme, who was responsible for the abduction of 121 students of Bethel Baptist High School, Kujama, Kaduna State, was killed in a fratricidal clash alongside other bandits.
