Comedian and actor Woli Arole has condemned the trend of women attending public events without wearing bras.

In a post on Instagram, he described the act as “highly indecent” and expresses concern that normalising such practices could lead to a collapse of moral standards in society.

Arole argues that braless dressing is distracting and inappropriate, particularly in professional settings like weddings and corporate events.

According to Arole, the trend is becoming increasingly common at public gatherings, including weddings and birthday parties.

He warns that if people don’t speak up against such practices, future generations may lose their moral bearings.

Arole challenged the argument that women have the right to dress as they wish, questioning whether such choices would be tolerated in job interviews or formal settings.

“It is highly indecent for a lady to go out to a public event and wear clothes without a bra, for God’s sake. You see wedding guests without bra. Haaaaa! Birthday guests without bra. It’s bad! Be decent. Anyone who defends braless outing is also indecent in her thought,” he wrote.

“With the way things are going, if we don’t speak up about some things, we might not have morality again. A generation might not have morality again,” he said.

He further described braless dressing as distracting and inappropriate. “Your nipple is showing.

“Oga, it’s wrong. To an event, you are seated, you are distracting, and you are even nearly distracting the husband, distracting the groomsmen, and you are saying, ‘my body, my choice.”

“Can you go bra-less to an interview? You are going for an interview for what you have been believing God for, and you go bra-less, to a corporate organisation that wants to pay two million.

“You say, ‘my body, my choice.’ If they don’t give me a job, you see, we are glorifying nonsense, madness, insanity. Me, I will speak up. Because we will lack sense in the generation,” Arole declared.
