Youths Nab Five Indigenes Allegedly Helping Gunmen To Operate In Anambra Community

One arrested bandit, who was described as Eselu was said to be responsible for most of the attacks, including inviting bandits who posed as freedom fighters.

Five youths accused of aiding secessionist elements in their attacks have been apprehended by youths of Ogbaru in Anambra state.

Though Ogbaru has been plagued with violence as a result of oil mining activities and bunkering in the area, suspected Biafra secessionists have also been invading and damaging properties there.

There have in recent times been attacks on police stations, local government secretariat and even an attack on UN officials who visited the area.

But on Monday morning, youths of the area mobilized and apprehended some of the perpetuators.
