INTERSOS, a humanitarian organization is recruiting an Accountability Assistant to join their team in Monguno, Borno State.

As an Accountability Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting community ownership and ensuring strong relationships with internally displaced persons (IDPs) and local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting and CFM Activities: Manage AAP/CCCM-related activities, conduct information sharing and participatory assessments, and maintain close interactions with IDPs and local communities.

Complaints and Feedback Management: Work with CCCM staffers and beneficiaries to manage complaints and feedback, ensuring proper documentation and aggregation of data.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide detailed summaries of complaints and feedback, identify trends, and support ad-hoc reporting.

Community Engagement: Run helpdesks, manage community notice boards, and collect information on case studies and success stories.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum BSc/HND in any discipline (statistics or social sciences preferred).

Experience: At least 1 year in M&E, accountability systems, and community-based development programs.

Skills: Strong interpersonal, team-building, and analytical skills, with proficiency in English and local languages (Hausa, Kanuri, and/or Shua).
